Tami Nelson, D.C.
Dr. Tami Nelson of Hampden County Chiropractic is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic and trained in a variety of techniques, Dr. Nelson's care includes diversified chiropractic, Cox flexion-distraction, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular re-education, soft tissue mobilization, Activator technique, Koran Specific Technique, OTZ, Cranial Release and motion palpation.
Dr. Nelson earned an AA and AS from Greenfield Community College. Dr. Nelson earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic from Western States Chiropractic College, Portland, Oregon after which she returned to Western Massachusetts to begin her practice.
She is a member of Massachusetts Chiropractic Society and Pioneer Valley Chiropractic Society and regularly attends continuing education seminars.
Dr. Nelson resides in Longmeadow with her husband and two boys, Jack and Christopher. She enjoys an active lifestyle - biking, hiking, running, and rock climbing. She has run two marathons - the Hartford Marathon and Athens Classic Marathon in Athens, Greece.
